Peculiar AI Labs · Effective date: October 21, 2026

This policy explains, in plain English, what information Peculiar AI Labs collects through peculiarailabs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Peculiar AI Labs ("PAL," "we," "us") is an AI consulting and engineering company based in Central Virginia, USA, serving the Americas. This policy covers our website, peculiarailabs.com, and the tools we describe below.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. We collect only what you type into our forms:

  • Project intake form: your name, email address, company (optional), the area you're interested in, and your message.
  • Quick consultation form: your name, email address, company, role, the type of problem you need help with, and a description.
  • Newsletter signup (in the site footer): your email address.
  • AI Wire signup (to open news stories on our homepage): your email address.

Each form also contains a hidden field that helps us filter out spam bots. People don't see or fill it in.

If you email us or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message.

Information stored in your browser. When you sign up for the AI Wire, our site saves your email address and the time you signed up in your browser's local storage, so you don't have to sign up again on that device. This stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for peculiarailabs.com.

Technical information. Like most websites, the servers that host our site may automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you requested. This is used to run and protect the site.

3. Cookies and analytics

Our website doesn't currently use cookies, analytics tools, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.

Some parts of the site link to other websites, for example news headlines in the AI Wire and our profiles on X and Instagram. When you follow those links, the other site's own privacy policy applies.

4. How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

  • reply to your inquiry or consultation request and talk with you about your project;
  • send you our newsletter or AI updates, if you signed up for them;
  • keep our website working, secure, and free of spam.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't make automated decisions about you with it.

5. We don't sell your personal data

We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

6. Sharing with service providers

We share information only with the service providers that help us run our business, such as our website hosting provider and our email provider, and only so they can provide those services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

7. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and consultation information for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage any work we do together, along with normal business records. We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe. When we no longer need information, we delete it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time (see section 9).

8. Security

Our website is served over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we limit access to the information you send us to the people who need it to respond. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Ask what we have: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct it: ask us to fix anything that's wrong.
  • Delete it: ask us to delete your personal information. Just contact us (see section 13) and we'll take care of it.
  • Unsubscribe: stop receiving our newsletter at any time by contacting us.
  • Clear your browser data: remove the AI Wire signup saved on your device by clearing your browser's site data.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. Contact us and we'll help.

10. Google and YouTube API use

Peculiar AI Labs uses YouTube API Services, provided by Google, only to upload and manage videos on Peculiar AI Labs' own YouTube channel. We don't use the YouTube API to access, collect, or store information from our website visitors' Google or YouTube accounts.

11. Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. They aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make a significant change, we'll make it clear on our website.
